Tim Sullivan is a highly regarded executive with a strong track record of leadership and accomplishment. Currently serving as the Dean of the Business School at Carroll University, his focus is on enhancing student success and ensuring the competitiveness of Carroll University Business School graduates in the local and global arenas.
In addition to his role at Carroll University, Tim Sullivan holds positions as the Chairman of BitFire, Inc. and Bandit Productions in Phoenix, Arizona. His extensive career includes pivotal roles in successful businesses, including his tenure as the President & CEO of the REV Group, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of specialty vehicles. Prior to that, he served as the Chairman and CEO of Gardner Denver, Inc., a prominent manufacturer of oil and gas, industrial, and medical equipment based in Milwaukee.
Tim’s professional journey also includes serving as an advisor to CCMP, a private equity firm headquartered in New York. Before his advisory role, he spent 35 years at Bucyrus International, Inc., where he held various domestic and international positions. During his time as CEO of Bucyrus, he oversaw significant growth in revenue, EBITDA, and employment. Under his leadership, Bucyrus achieved notable milestones, including one of the top-performing initial public offerings in the U.S. in 2004 and impressive rankings among the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. in subsequent years.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Tim Sullivan has been actively involved in various advisory and governance roles. He has served on the boards of organizations such as Aurora Health Care, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and the National Mining Association.
